Blood Vessel Movie Netflix

Blood Vessel is a new Netflix thriller movie about escaping a world of horrific conditions. Although it is set in Nigeria, the cast is quite cosmopolitan, and the tale is a global survival story. The movie released on Netflix on 8 December 2023.

The running duration is little under two hours, but because it is a character-driven story, it doesn’t feel that long. The majority of the time is devoted introducing the characters and how they interact with one another. You do not wish to encounter one of the characters, who is Russian.

Blood Vessel is a film about survival in a way that most of us will never experience. It’s a Nigerian original film with the genres and story drivers of mystery, crime, and thriller. It all starts in the Niger Delta.

We meet six people who are thrown together by chance. As a last resort, all six end up on a ship as they must flee for various reasons. They do share the experience of fleeing an oil-polluted community.

They feel like they’ve hit the lottery as stowaways on the strange ship. They will soon discover, however, that a terrifying nightmare has only just begun. The fight for survival that follows will put friendships and family relationships to the test, ending in betrayal and chance.

Abbey, Boma, Degbe, Olotu, Tekena, and Oyinbraekemi all leave their small island settlement in the Niger Delta region for various reasons.

Tekena and Olotu are on their way to the Americas in search of a better life. Boma and Degbe are brothers who are attempting to flee the military following a failed demonstration. Finally, we meet Abbey and Oyinbraekemi, a young couple. To be together, the star-crossed lovers must go.

We get to know and understand all six characters fighting for survival.

Then there’s the Russian bad guy. You’re seriously underestimating him if you believe he’s bad. His methods are definitely influenced by the most heinous serial killers.
