The Bombardment or The Shadow in My Eye (Original title: Skyggen i mit øje) is a movie based on true events which follows the story of several Copenhagen residents whose lives are permanently changed when a WWII bombing mission accidentally targets a school full of children. This onslaught resulted in the deaths of 125 civilians. Eighteen of those victims were adults and 86 of those deaths were children. It’s a truly chilling piece of history.
