Joanne Froggatt as Jan Da Souza

Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond join Season 2

Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond are confirmed as new series regulars, but Paramount+ has deliberately kept their character names and allegiances under wraps. That means any claim that either actor is a Harrigan ally, rival or law-enforcement figure would be speculation before the premiere.

Why Harry Da Souza remains the key character

Harry is compelling because he is both inside and outside the Harrigan family. He knows their secrets, handles their crises and has earned their trust, but he is still an employee whose usefulness can become a liability. He can walk into situations Conrad or Kevin cannot, yet he also absorbs the consequences of their decisions.

Season 2 can push that contradiction further. The better Harry becomes at preserving the Harrigan empire, the more difficult it becomes for him to preserve a separate life with Jan and Gina. That is the emotional cost underneath the crime plot.
