Korea JoongAng Daily Korea’s leading media group confirmed the release date of the Squid Game Korean Drama on Netflix. Squid Game will be available for streaming on Netflix from September 17, 2021.

A group of 456 strangers participate in the secret survival game with a winning prize of KRW 45.6 billion. The game is represented by the union of a circle, a triangle and a square. Game starts and all the 456 participants wander through a colorful maze ending up in an open field. Participants those who do not follow the rule or are unable to complete the mission face death.

Facing financial crisis, Ki-Hoon participates in a game which will reward the winner with a sum of 45.6 billion. Sang-Woo, a very good friend of Ki-Hoon participates in the secret survival game with his friend Ki-Hoon as he is facing financial crisis too, though he went to good College and had decent education but lands into financial crisis due to misappropriation of company funds.
