Jimmy Savile used his wealth to do charity work, mostly in the medical field such as Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary, where allegations of him being a child predator would surface. Former Sex Pistols vocalist John Lydon spoke in a 1978 interview about Savile saying, “I’d like to kill Jimmy Savile; I think he’s a hypocrite. I bet he’s into all kinds of seediness that we all know about, but are not allowed to talk about. I’m disgusted at the media pretending they weren’t aware.” The BBC was set to release a news night investigation into Savile in 2011 that was abruptly cancelled.

As of 2012, 450 victims of Savile had come forward in which 80% were children or underage at the time (The Daily Telegraph, BBC News). Broadmoor Hospital staff also came forward claiming Savile engaged in necrophiliac acts with corpses. One victim claims Savile raped her while a group of people in robes chanted some type of Latin.

In 2014, the Plymouth Herald reports that former journalist Jill Dando was murdered back in 1999 for handing in a dossier to BBC investigating a pedophile ring including politicians and the wealthy. She was shot in the head unlocking her front door.
