Yara film is based on the true story of the murder of 13 year old girl Yara Gambirasio, which shocked the small town of Brembate di Sopra, Italy. A determined prosecutor becomes consumed with the case of a missing Yara Gambirasio and goes to extreme lengths to get to the truth. Massimo Bossetti, was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of the young woman.
