Season 3 of “The White Lotus” has expanded to include five new actors. The third season of the hit HBO series will feature Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Aimee Lou Wood.
The new cast members include Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Tayme Thapthimthong, Miloš Biković, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, and Shalini Peiris, who were previously announced. Carrie Coon from “The Gilded Age” will also appear in Season 3, while Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role from Season 1.
Goggins is represented by Darris Hatch Management and CAA. Hook is represented by Gersh and Luber Roklin Entertainment. UTA and Narrative have reopped Nivola. Arnold Schwarzenegger is represented by Entertainment 360, UTA, Viewpoint, and Patrick Knapp. Wood is represented by both CAA and Independent Talent.
In February, the show will begin filming in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand. Exact plot elements are being kept under wraps, with the exception that it will follow a fresh group of guests at a White Lotus resort.
Mike White is the creator, executive producer, and director of “The White Lotus”. David Bernad and Mark Kamine are also executive producers. HBO has teamed with Thailand’s Tourism Authority to help with the filming and advertising of the third series.
When “The White Lotus” premiered on HBO in 2021, it was an immediate success. The first season, set in Hawaii, earned 20 Emmy nominations and ten wins, including best limited or anthology series. The second season, which premiered in December 2022 and was set in Sicily, received 23 Emmy nominations, including best drama series, and won five prizes.
