The Boys fans believe Prime commercial’s recent commercial teases a significant Supe cameo in the season 4 finale, which is the one we’ve all been waiting for.
The season 4 finale of The Boys is quickly approaching, and one fan claims Prime Video’s latest video release could be a sign to a possible cameo by a long-lost Supe from season 3. Soldier boy.
On July 14, just days before the season 4 finale, Prime Video released a best parts montage of Soldier Boy, one of the show’s most ridiculous superheroes. The six-and-a-half-minute movie features snippets of the Captain America-type hero’s biggest moments, from Herogasm to his cameo in Gen V. However, the suddenness of the post, combined with the description “Soldier Boy is… Soldier Boy. “Get ready for the most diabolical season yet,” has fans wondering if he will feature in season 4.
Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles from Supernatural, had his first appearance in season 3 when The Boys discovered him in a Russian lab, appearing as young as the day he was seized. He was eventually discovered to be Homelander’s biological father, but Soldier Boy rejected his alleged child and attempted to murder him, Ryan, and everyone else in Vought Tower, prompting Maeve to risk her life to kill him. So, at the end of Season 3, Soldier Boy was returned to a gas-filled capsule, until now?
So far in season 4, we’ve seen Billy Butcher and his Boys feverishly struggle to get their hands on the Supe virus in a final attempt to murder Homelander. Now it all comes down to the final episode, and we don’t know which way it will go. Could Soldier Boy make an appearance, and what does he have to do with the virus? We guess we’ll have to wait patiently for the finale.
The Boys season 4 episode 8 is available on Prime Video on July 18.
