Rolf Harris Documentary

Rolf Harris: Hiding in Plain Sight is a two-part ITV documentary that sensitively allows the presenter’s victims to share their stories while also asking larger questions – about the people who facilitated his sexual assaults.

Rolf Harris is an Australian-British entertainer, artist, and musician. He is best known for his career as a television presenter, painter, and musician. Harris was born on March 30, 1930, in Perth, Western Australia. He gained fame as the host of various television programs, including “The Rolf Harris Show,” which aired in the UK during the 1960s and 1970s.

Rolf Harris was also known for his artistic talents, particularly as a painter. He specialized in creating “wobble board” paintings, which involved using a piece of hardboard and applying paint in a way that created a unique, textured effect.

However, Rolf Harris’s reputation took a significant hit in the mid-2010s when he was convicted of multiple counts of indecent assault against young girls. In 2014, he was found guilty and subsequently sentenced to prison. These convictions led to a substantial decline in his career and a tarnishing of his once-positive public image.
