Caitlyn Jenner Documentary 2023 title “House of Kardashian”
The three-part docu-series promises to delve into the lives and legacies of Kris Jenner and her family by speaking with some of their closest friends, including Jenner’s ex-wife Caitlyn Jenner and longtime family friend Joe Francis (of “Girls Gone Wild” fame), as well as gaining access to previously unseen archival footage of the family before they became famous.
“House of Kardashian,” will premiere in the United Kingdom on Sky Documentaries and streaming service on 8 October 2023.
Unlike their self-titled show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and its follow-up “The Kardashians,” none of the Kardashians had editorial control over the documentary, which promises to be explosive.
Caitlyn Jenner says in the first teaser, “Kimberly calculated from the beginning, ‘How do I become famous?'” “The sex tape was a means to an end,” Francis tells the camera. It was meant to spark a debate.”
And, an unidentified female voice says, “Kris wanted to be more than just a housewife,” while another voiceover says most people fall into one of two camps: wanting to talk about the worldwide recognised family or saying, “They ruined the world!”
“No other family defines our time or divides opinion like the Kardashians,” according to the series’ logline. “To some, they are admired as a dynasty of powerful women who have inspired girls all over the world.” Others see them as untalented and ethically bankrupt reality stars who harm women by portraying their lives as a superficial fairytale.
“I was happy to participate in the interview process to share my side, which points to the strength, influence, and prowess my family has in captivating the world’s attention and keeping it over the years,” Caitlyn Jenner said of her involvement in the production. “I am very proud of all of my children and stepchildren.”
